South Dakota Investment Council General Information
The South Dakota Investment Council is an agency of state government that manages the investments of various funds based in South Dakota. The council was established in 1971 and is headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The fund includes the South Dakota Retirement System, South Dakota Health Care Trust Fund, South Dakota Education Enhancement Trust Fund, Dakota Cement Trust Fund, South Dakota School & Public Lands Fund, South Dakota Cash Flow Fund, and Higher Education Savings 529 Plan. The assets are managed by an eight-member Investment Council Board.
