Ascendis Health has five operating segments: consumer health, pharma, medical, animal health, and biosciences. The pharma division is the contributor to revenue and is further divided into Pharma Africa, Remedica, and Farmalider. Pharma includes generic manufacturing and distribution and over-the-counter medicine manufacturing and distribution. The company's revenue is split between South Africa and Europe and is diversified across currencies, markets, sales channels, and customer groups.
