AmSouth Bank General Information


AmSouth was a regional bank holding company. It served in key business segments, including consumer and commercial banking, small business banking, mortgage lending, equipment leasing, annuity and mutual fund sales, and trust and investment management services. AmSouth also offered internet banking services. In 2006, Amsouth merged with the Regions Bank (Regions Financial Corporation) and no longer exists anymore as it falls under the name of Regions now.
