Nomura Private Equity Capital (NPEC) was an investment advisory firm dedicated to private equity fund investment. NPEC was a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, one of the largest global financial institutions. NPEC, previously known as PEFR&I, was originally founded in October 2007 by three Japanese financial institutions, Nomura Holdings, The Norinchukin Bank and Development Bank of Japan. In July 2011, it became a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings and was renamed NPEC. The firm is inactive and no longer tracked by PitchBook.
