The top 8 VC investors in Oregon-based startups

As the first state to experience yesterday's total solar eclipse, a lot of eyes have been on Oregon. The celestial event has inspired us to take a look at VC investor activity in the state.

Since the beginning of 2015, 167 VC investors have participated in at least one of 134 deals for startups headquartered in Oregon, per the PitchBook Platform. Of those deals, a plurality (39%) have been in the software sector, with commercial services (10%) and commercial products (5%) coming in second and third.
