Description
Wellington Financial was a privately-held specialty finance firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada. The firm provided term, venture and amortizing loans primarily to companies in the automation, biotechnology, healthcare, business, oil and gas services and technology sectors. The firm was managed by a partnership controlled by fund management Clairvest Group, who jointly have contributed a large financial stake to the Fund. As of January 2018, CIBC has acquired Wellington Financial which has become a part of CIBC Innovation Banking. The company is no longer tracked by PitchBook.
