Mr. Kees Koolen is the Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer & Chairman at Koolen Industries. He was also a Co-Founding Partner and served as Senior Advisor and Executive in Residence at EQT Ventures. Prior to starting EQT Ventures, he spent a number of years building Booking.com into a successful global company. He served as Chief Operating Officer and advisor at Uber. He was an early investor in Booking.com and then joined the company as COO in 2001. This was a position he held for seven years, during which time it was acquired by Priceline (Nasdaq: PCLN). He later became CEO of Booking.com and then its Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys Hogescholen in the Netherlands. He serves as an Advisor at BrightBlu. He served as Chairman and chief Executive Officer at Super B Lithium Power.
